Dr. Jennifer Anderson - DVM

Dr. AndersonDr. Anderson graduated from the Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004, and joined the Wilsonville Veterinary Clinic team in August of 2005.

She is a native Oregonian, and has worked in the veterinary field since she was a high school student. Dr. Anderson enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery, and always strives to provide the best possible care for her patients. Outside of work, she spends as much time as possible with her husband, son, two dogs and three cats. She also enjoys reading, gardening, hiking, and camping.

Dr. Kristen Hardinge - DVM

Dr.HardingeDr. Hardinge completed her veterinary degree at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. She joined Wilsonville Veterinary Clinic in 2003.

Outside of work she enjoys horseback riding, hiking and skiing with her husband and two children. Her menagerie includes a dog, three cats, and two horses.

Dr. Cheryl Lopate - MS, DVM, DACT

Dr. LopateDr. Lopate received a MS in reproductive physiology from The Ohio State University in 1987 and she graduated from the same university in 1991 with her DVM.

She completed a residency in comparative theriogenology (reproduction) at Purdue University in 1997 and became board certified in the same year. She has worked in a variety of practice settings including general mixed practice, referral practice and academia. She believes very strongly in providing client education and speaks at breed group meetings regularly. She also speaks at many veterinary conferences and has written many journal articles, book chapters and books on a variety of reproductive topics. In her free time she rides her Cleveland Bay gelding, Ro; herds with her three dogs Madison (an Australian Shepherd), Reggie and Finn (both Pembroke Welsh Corgis) and works on her hobby farm. She has a barn kitty name Cleo, 5 sheep (for the dogs to herd) and 2 miniature donkeys named Annabelle and Emily.

Dr. Ray Calkins - DVM

Dr. CalkinsRay graduated from Iowa State University in 1972 and moved to Southern California for a one year internship and stayed for three additional years, during those years he acquired his first German Wirehaired Pointer, attended his first field trial and dog show and developed an interest in canine reproduction.

He moved his young family to Wilsonville and purchased the clinic in 1976. Veterinary medicine has always been a passion and his hobbies include fly fishing, field trailing and hunting. Ray often speaks to local dog clubs on reproduction or veterinary health issues and continues to successfully trial and breed German Wirehaired Pointers. He judges pointing breed field trials all over the United States then comes home to Oregon to hunt and fish with the family.

Dr. Kristin Beckley - DVM

Dr.BeckleyDr. Beckley is a Northwest native who grew up with her amazing parents and three siblings on a farm in Scholls, OR. Raising everything from dogs and cats to horses and miniature donkeys allowed her to realize her passion for animals at an early age.

After earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences, she attended Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Go Beavs!

Dr. Beckley joined Wilsonville Veterinary Clinic as an associate veterinarian in 2008. She spends much of her day smiling as she interacts with her patients and their owners. She truly enjoys being a veterinarian and finds it an honor and pleasure to work with so many animals and their families.

Dr. Beckley lives with her husband Joe, daughter Madelyn, twin sons Ryan and Michael, cat Clyde and Flat-Coated Retriever Hudson. Dr. Beckley enjoys an active lifestyle of spending time with her family, running, hiking, playing sports, traveling and exploring the great Northwest.
